OUR FAMILY, OUR HOMESTEAD.
WELCOME! We're Anna + Adam - a couple in our midthirties, raising two toddlers on a little slice of heaven in Northern New Jersey. We found our homestead when we were least expecting and now we're on the journey to learn all things relating to growing our own food, caring for farm animals + everything else that comes with living a self-sufficient lifestyle. We are the kids of Polish immigrants - we have seen hard work come to fruition and we are learning many of our skills from our parents. From preserving a garden harvest, butchering our own farm raised meat, to building poultry brooders + tractors - we're diving head first into homesteading.
Our goals are simple - we want to live a happy and meaningful life. For us, this includes raising kind children with a good work ethic, we want to know where [most] of our food comes from and we are willing to tackle projects of all types. A lot of our success comes from trial and error, we embrace different perspectives and are excited to learn from YOU! Things you can expect on our instagram/blog/youtube: renovations from our 1800s farmhouse, farm animal experiences + tips, gardening, parenthood, food recipes, diy project, home decor + more! |

LEARNINGEvery day is an adventure for us. We are learning new skills + methods all the time. Reading, researching and asking questions of our parents and those who wish to share their homesteading experience + knowledge.
We're soaking up all the info that's passed down to us + also learning lots as we go! |
BUILDING Not only are we using our hands + tools in many of our diy projects, but we're also building connections. We are constantly sharing our journey on social media and are thankful for our online community and meeting new people who share common goals + interests.

GROWINGWe began this journey in late 2019 - in less than a year we have grown hundreds of pounds of vegetables, farm raised meats and eggs, with nearly zero experience. We have also grown tremendously as individuals, as a couple, and as a family. We will continue to push our boundaries + keep growing!
